Alcyone, a plain file archiver that supports the Zstandard (zstd) and DEFLATE (zlib) data compression algorithm; including a stripped-down implementation of libarchive from FreeBSD in an effort to integrate the UStar (Unix Standard TAR) format, introduced by the POSIX IEEE P1003.1 standard from 1988. Super minimal graphical user interface (GUI).

The minimum system requirements for 32-bit operating systems are: Windows XP SP3 or later, with a Pentium Pro (i686) or later at ≥200MHz, with ≥64MB of RAM, and free disk space ≥1500MB. For 64-bit operating systems the baseline is: Windows Vista or later, with an AMD64 (x86-64) compatible CPU or SoC at ≥1GHz, with ≥1GB of RAM, and free disk space ≥15GB. The software designed with no specific requirements for: GPU, computer monitor, audio card, and ethernet; any inexpensive device will serve you well for most tasks.
The source code is best (ritually) viewed in monochrome, preferably with KCm.
You may use the software free of charge for your own personal pleasure.
The only requirement is that you do not talk about the software.
